Philippine Idol (wildcard)

Here's the Wildcard Special of Philippine Idol. Only 5 boys and 5 girls were selected by the judges to perform on the Wildcard Night. Unfortunately, Freddie Cabael Jr. and Robert Bernadas was not able to make it. Sayang! Anyway, I'm glad that Gian, Ramirr, Ken and Mau were selected to perform that night. From the 10 wildcard performers only 2 boys and 2 girls are going to make it to the Top 12. And these Four were Ken, Gian, Stef and Mau!!! Although I'm a big fan of Ramirr on the guys night, I'm gonna have to agree with Francis M and Mr. C that he was on his comfort zone. I wish he could have sang a different song, but as much as I don't want to admit it, I think that Rock is the only genre that he's good at. I mean, can you imagine him singing an R&B song? Definitely, Not! Plus, the act of singing to his girlfriend is just too much! It was so... hmm... baduy? And he was not able to do justice to my favorite Aerosmith song. Actually, before he started singing, my cousin and I were thinking of what song Ramirr have chosen, and I told my cousin that he should sing 'I don't wanna miss a thing' and voila! he just said that he's going to sing it! Hehe. What a coincidence! ;) But of course, I was a bit disappointed on the way he sang it. Sayang eh! Hindi nakuha yung sigaw ni Steven Tyler. Konti na lang.

So moving on... On the results night, Ken and Gian were chosen for the boys. And for the girls, It was Mau and Stef. Mau even commented that it wasn't a singing contest but more of a beauty contest. I have to agree with that. Even the judges agree with her...
