SONAMOO (소나무), which means 'Pine Tree' in English, is a seven-member South Korean girl group under TS Entertainment. They are under the same company as Secret and B.A.P. The group made their official debut on December 29, 2014 with the release of their debut single, "Deja Vu". If I'm not mistaken, their first live performance or debut stage was on January 2, 2015 at KBS Music Bank.

By the way, their fans are called Sonbalgul (솔방울) which is 'Pine Cone' in English. I think this name totally fits the groups name! What a relief they didn't think of anything stupid to name the groups' fans.

The Song: "Deja Vu"
This group's debut single and debut concept is different from all the other girl groups which debuted last year. Most, if not all, started with the "cute" or "school girl" concept which is why I appreciate that this group didn't join the bandwagon and chose to debut with a stronger image instead. I think this concept fits them well (if they are really aiming for a different appeal). The song totally sets them apart from other girl groups which are just about the same age as them. Anyway, they even reminded me of their company sunbae's debut, remember B.A.P's debut with "Warrior"? I'm kind of getting the same vibe.
I've watched all of their debut stages and all I can say is that this group is so talented and they have so much potential. I'm looking forward to this group's next projects.
