B.A.P

B.A.P (acronym for Best Absolute Perfect) is a six-member South Korean boy band by TS Entertainment who debuted on January 2012. The group consists of Yongguk, Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup and Zelo. The group officially debuted with the release of their first single, "Warrior". On January 27, 2012, B.A.P performed their first debut stage on KBS Music Bank.

The Song: 'Warrior'

I think the song perfectly fits their concept of being "warriors". It's powerful, catchy and full of angst. The song kind of sets them apart from other k-pop boy bands in existence today -although the concept somewhat reminds me of Super Junior's Don't Don days. Anyway, I immediately liked the song the first time I heard it (which, by the way, doesn't happen often nowadays). The song is kind of addicting that I couldn't help but press that repeat button on my media player. This group is definitely a strong candidate for the best newcomer award at the year-end festivals that's why I'm so looking forward to seeing (and hearing) more from them.
