Q&A... 020

Something totally random.
[ ] You like to eat chicken feet. -Never even tried to eat one before.
[ ] You sing karaoke. -Believe it or not, I have never sang in front of my friends. Even my family hasn't seen me held a microphone and sing karaoke.
[ ] You've worn glasses ever since you were in fifth grade. -I'm fortunate to have perfect vision.
[X] You'll haggle over something that is not negotiable. -Well, it's worth a try. Sometimes, vendors/sellers need a little push.
[X] You are a math genius. -Haha. I'd like to think that I am. Or was.
[ ] You take showers at night.
[X] You avoid the non-free snacks in hotel rooms. -Of course. You don't want to get held up just because you couldn't pay for your hotel bill because it went out of your budget.
[ ] You say "aiyah!" and "wah!" frequently.
[X] You save grocery bags. -Yes, I used them as trash bags.
[X] You twirl your pen around your fingers. -Out of habit. Only when I'm extremely bored.
[X] You have been taught that wasting food is a sin. -My grandparents told us that there are millions of people who don't have food on their table and some can only afford to have meals at least once a day. "Maraming taong nagugutom sa mundo... maswerte kayo at may kinakain kayo." That's the usual litany if one of us leaves food on the table. And I have it embedded in my mind.
[X] Your dad thinks he can fix everything himself. -I sometimes wonder if it has anything to do with him being an engineering grad. You'll be amazed at the contents of his toolbox! If we have a garage, I think it'll be an extension of a hardware store.
[ ] You beat eggs with chopsticks. -We use forks.
[ ] You like congee with thousand-year-old eggs. -I haven't tried this one! Will definitely add it to my food bucket list.
[X] You have eaten moon cakes.
[X] If you don't live at home, when your parents call, they ask you if you've eaten, even if it's midnight. -My lola does. When I was away in Singapore, I remember having the conversation begin like this: "O, kumain ka na ba?"
[ ] You email/sms your friends, even though you're only ten feet apart.
[ ] You can read traditional Chinese.
[X] Your toothpaste tubes are all squeezed paper-thin before they are thrown away. -In our household, nothing is wasted.
[X] You know what pearl milk teas are.
[ ] You bring fruit with you as a gift when you visit people's homes.
[ ] You have acquired a taste for bitter melon.
[X] You eat every last grain of rice in your bowl, but don't eat the last piece of food on the table.
[ ] Your parents argue with other adults over the dinner bill.
[ ] You love to use coupons.
