Abby's X-Mas Wishlist

I'm finally done with this year's Christmas wishlist! Yey!!! After much contemplation on my part, I came up with a list that is both practical and attainable. Meaning, I would have the resources to purchase any of them if it wasn't given to me as a gift. Hehe. ; )

Anything that is left on this list after the holidays are done will be subject for evaluation for inclusion on my birthday wishlist. Lol.

In no particular order:

  • A new phone (preferably an android phone for Instagram use.) - I'm not particular with the brand of the phone. Sure, an iPhone would be much appreciated but anything that would allow me to post pictures on instagram, send text messages, and make phone calls would do.

  • Lauren Conrad's L.A. Candy book series (the whole set) - I like Lauren. I just do. I'm like totally inspired by her now. Which is why I wanted to read the books she's written. And what better way to start by reading her first novel, right?

  • Heide Klum's "Me" perfume. - A bit pricey and somewhat hard to find here in the Philippines. But... if there's a will, there's a way! (a.k.a Paypal).
  • New set of accessories: necklace, watch, bracelet, earrings, ring, and sunglasses. - Just a piece of each would do.
  • New pair of jeans (preferably skinny jeans). - the last pair I bought was eight months ago. And the fabric is starting to stretch since I've been using it constantly for work. About time to find its alternate.

  • Red lipstick. - my new obsession. I recently discovered that since I have dark lips, I sort of look sickly without a hint of color on my lips. So in order to prevent people telling me that I look like I'm about to faint, I tried using red lipstick. And it definitely did wonders for my appearance.
  • New pair of shoes (preferably ballet flats) - I'm not a big fan of stilletto/high-heels (though I would love to try them someday). So, flats are like my feet's best friend. I can move around freely in them.
  • A new bag - again, any type or brand would do. I just wanted something to add to my collection. Although I've been eyeing the red baby satchel I saw from a friend...
  • Yellow umbrella. - if red lipstick is my new make-up obsession, then yellow is my new color obsession. This year, I saw the color yellow in a different light. Hehe.
  • UST jacket (varsity jacket or the black quadricentennial jacket) - any alumni will surely want one. If I can't have them by this year, I'll surely buy them once I got my overtime pay from work.
  • Alarm clock - I need one. Badly. Anyone who knows me well would understand why I had to have one.
So, that's about it. No over the top, hard to find items on this list. Hope to cross off even half of the items listed above by the end of this year. I have to admit that I haven't been a nice kid this year, but Santa... I'm constantly trying to improve myself. :)

Christmas Bucket List

It's the first day of December. Counting today, it's exactly 25 days before Christmas. Christmas has always been one of my favorite (if not my most favorite) holiday. When I was younger, a lot younger that is, I always look forward for the month of December since they used to feature Holiday-themed cartoons all day. I remember not wanting to attend school because I will miss watching a show (there were no re-runs), and hated mandatory sleep in the afternoons because of that. Another thing I like about Christmas are my new clothes, shoes, and sometimes, toys which my mom would buy from Cinderella (that's a name of a store). And during Christmas eve, I look forward to spending it at my lola's side of the family where there are games, prizes, gifts, money, lots of food, and laughter filling the air. But then I grew up.

I have to admit that during the past couple of years, I treated Christmas like an ordinary holiday. It seems that the magic has worn off. Aside from no longer believing in Santa Claus, it seems that I outgrew the spirit of Christmas. I no longer watch the cartoons, I no longer go caroling, and we no longer celebrate Christmas at that side of the family. But even as I am saying it now, the little kid in me still smiles when she sees Christmas decorations, and even if I no longer receive gifts for Christmas, my heart still jumps at seeing gifts (even if they're not mine) under the Christmas tree. Watching Home Alone re-runs on TV still completes my holidays. Christmas lanterns are still my favorite decorations. And hearing Christmas carols still fills my heart with joy. So I want to rekindle that flame. That flame that I had in me when I was twenty or so years younger - a time when Christmas for me is magical. So, how do I bring it back?

Abby's Christmas Bucket List.

  1. Watch Home Alone 1-3.
  2. Make A Christmas Wishlist.
  3. Buy a gift for myself.
  4. Attend the "Simbang Gabi". And complete it when possible.
  5. Hear Christmas Carols.
  6. Go to places where there are a lot of Christmas decorations.
  7. Watch Christmas movies.
  8. Eat Bibingka and puto bungbung?
  9. Go to Star City.
  10. Wrap a Christmas present.
  11. Visit my inaanak.
  12. Spend time with family.
  13. Holiday dinner with friends.
  14. Write a letter to Santa.
  15. Create an ornament.
  16. Starbucks special holiday drinks.
  17. Drink hot choco/cocoa.
  18. Get family Christmas pictures.
  19. Eat chestnuts.
  20. Stuff Christmas stocking with candies and chocolates.
  21. Take a picture with Santa.
  22. Buy a candy cane.
  23. Read the Nativity.
  24. Take a holiday photo.
  25. Read a Christmas story.
  26. Watch a Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) entry.
  27. Look at Christmas lights.
  28. Attend a Christmas bazaar.
  29. Watch a parade.
  30. Purchase different holiday-themed treats.

So, that's it. My very own Christmas bucket list. Hope to get them done before the year ends. And maybe at which time, I would have confessed that I still believe in Santa, his elves, reindeer, and yes... North Pole.

XOXO,
AbbyMercs ♥

Sharing Love This Christmas...

Today, I participated in a gift-giving program organized by our city's vice mayor for the less fortunate kids in Parañaque. Earlier this afternoon, while we were having merienda (that's around 3PM), a lady came inside our office carrying two small x-mas trees. The trees were not adorned by the usual plastic christmas tree ornaments we were all used to seeing, but with neon green angel-shaped papers. A closer look and it revealed to contain names of kids and the baranggay where they came from at the back of the cut-outs.

I found out that every year, an employee will get to choose from the trees the name(s) of kids that they want to give a gift to for Christmas  You can choose one or two or as many as you want, and you can even select the gender. One tree contain names of girls and the other, the names of boys. The kids' ages ranged from seven to eleven years old and they all came from District 2 of Parañaque City. When I asked why they don't have kids from District 1 (my district), it dawned upon me that the answer lies in the coming election. Now, I wouldn't go talking about that or my political views for the time being. Anyway, I chose two kids, a girl (Erika, 9 yrs. old) and a boy (Joshua, 10 yrs. old) as my gift recipient. I based my selection according to which names I liked the most and didn't even realize, until I was actually writing my name as the "santa", that they were both from Barangay Sun Valley. I wanted to change it but I like the names!!! Hehe. Erika and Joshua. Erika is a name that I personally like, and Joshua for Joshua Jackson, whom I'm a fan of since his Mighty Ducks days.

I've never done this kind of thing before, so I'm very excited (and a bit anxious) at the thought of making kids (other than my siblings and cousins) happy this coming Christmas -even with just a simple gift. There were actually no rules regarding the gifts. There's no minimum nor maximum amount, no guidelines, no wishlist... so it's really up to you if you want to go all-out and be generous or be simple and practical. I have to admit that I'm at a loss as to what I'll be giving. But one thing's for sure, I want to give something that is useful and something that they will appreciate. No worries though as I still have three more weeks to figure something out. ♥

Photo A Day Challenge

I recently discovered this project while I was searching the web for an alternative to the 365-day photo project that I'm supposed to be doing. Most of the search results have linked me to Fat Mum Slim's website, and in there, I found this:

I know I'm a late participant (as in five days late), but I still want to give it a try. I'm also thinking of doing the photo-a-day challenges from January to October just for practice -and for fun! Just to see how creative I can be. And instead of using my phone (Instagram), I'll be using my trusty old digital camera. It's a sure way of testing how good I've become at taking pictures. It's kinda like being enrolled in a photography class. Wish me luck!

Test for Dementia

*From an email I got from a friend seven years ago.

Below are four questions and a bonus question. You have to answer them instantly. You can't take your time. You have to answer them immediately, okay?

Let's find out how clever you really are.

This blog got a brand new look!

Yep... I finally gave in. I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant about changing the entire look of this blog (template, background, colors, fonts, etc.) at first, but when I saw the final output... wow! Definitely worth it. With all the changes happening on blogger, I decided that it's about time that I incorporate those changes in my blog as well (sharing, templates, google+). I've been looking at other blogs, and I realize that my own blog is sooooo "neanderthal". Hahaha. I've been using the same template from six years ago!!! That was around the time that a blank template is still available from the template options, and changing the look of my blog required me to change it via HTML. That in itself proved to be a difficult task, especially when my knowledge of html is limited to what they taught me in high school. But now that more template designs became available on blogger, changing the overall look of a blog had also become a lot more easier. Now, I can change the look of this blog anytime I wanted to.

Cheers!
XOXO♥

Is sex best in the morning, afternoon, or evening?

:: Morning and evening. :)

What side of the bed do you sleep on?

:: Left side of the bed.

Pork, beef, or chicken?

:: Chicken!

Have you ever had to pull over on the side of the road to puke?

:: Nope. I haven't done this one yet. Fortunately.

What leg do you put in your pants first when pulling them up?

:: Right?

Candles or incense?

:: Scented candles. I haven't tried the scented incense so I don't know which would I prefer more.

Do you dance when no one is watching?

:: Yes, all the time.

Did you play doctor when you were little?

:: I think I did.

Have you ever taken your clothes off for money?

:: It's against my principles.

Stove top or microwave?

:: Microwave. I think it's easier and faster.

Would you rather have your car or your house dirty?

:: My house. Driving around in a dirty car speaks volumes about yourself since other people can see you and your dirty car. If your house is dirty, you could just lock the door so that no one else can see it.

Shower or bath?

:: Bath. Honestly, I don't know the difference between the two. Don't they mean the same thing.

Do you pee in the shower?

:: Yes, it's normal.

Mexican or Chinese food?

:: Mexican... yum!

Has there ever been anyone in your family you wish wasn't?

:: Nope. I love everyone in our family.

Oreos or Vanilla Wafers?

:: Oreos!!!

How do you like your steak cooked?

:: Grilled... hahaha... I don't eat anything that's half-cooked so you wouldn't hear me saying rare or medium-rare.

How do you like your eggs?

Would you rather have a root canal or minor surgery?

:: Root canal?

Would you shave your entire body (including your head)?

:: No. Not my head.

What is your favorite candy?

:: Runts. Or any candy that have chocolate or strawberry in it.

Have your ever been to a strip club?

:: Yes, in Thailand.

Ever been to a bar?

:: Yes.

Have you ever been caught having sex?

:: Nope

Have you ever kissed a stranger?

:: Nope.

Does anyone have naughty pictures of you?

:: Nope. I behave well in public.

Q&A... 024

What would you do if a hobo jumped out of the bushes and stole your wallet?

:: I would scream for help... and try to defend myself AND my wallet. Money isn't the issue here but the wallet I'm using holds a lot of memories for me. So if I can talk him out of stealing my wallet and just giving him cash instead, I'll definitely do it!

What would you do if you found out that you were adopted?

:: I would try to find my birth parents. It's not because I want to be with them, it's more of wanting to know the reason why they gave me away. The feeling of being unwanted sucks.

:: I would join him in his journey back to North Pole.

Do you like eggs?

:: Yes.

How do you like your eggs?

:: Scrambled.

:: WTH! Of course it will.

When are you going to visit your fairy god mother?

:: Shouldn't my fairy god mother be the one to visit me instead?

Do you like potatoes?

:: Yes. I like them fried.

Maybe you'd like your potatoes with some mayonnaise?

:: Not a big fan of mayonnaise.

What would you do if a penguin ate all your cheetos?

:: I'll just go and buy another one.

Would you kick it?

:: Nah. I'm against animal cruelty.

Do you agree that penguins are awesome?

:: They're cute and if they're like the ones on Happy Feet, I would totally keep one as a pet. Although I don't think they can withstand the weather in the Philippines.

And so are monkey right?

:: Some monkeys are awesome. They're almost like humans.

What do you do when the aliens come to suck out your brain?

:: Hide. And if I see an opportunity, I'd escape from them. I'll run as far and as fast as possible.

What do you think of Britney Spears?

:: She's a talented artist. And props to her for pulling herself back together.

Do you like to dance in the rain wearing a bikini?

:: I like to dance in the rain but not in my bikini.

Do you also like to eat ham smothered in hot and spicy cow fetuses?

:: No. That's disgusting.

What would you say if a stranger came up to you and grabbed your ass?

:: Slap him.

Would this upset you?

:: Of course it will upset me. I was just disrespected!

How do you feel about chicken?

:: Without them, there wouldn't be eggs and there wouldn't be fried chicken. Hehe.

What would you do if you found an elf in your bed at night?

:: If it's a good one, make friends with it. I surely hope it looks like the ones on LOTR. Legolas... yey!

Q&A... 020

Something totally random.
[ ] You like to eat chicken feet. -Never even tried to eat one before.
[ ] You sing karaoke. -Believe it or not, I have never sang in front of my friends. Even my family hasn't seen me held a microphone and sing karaoke.
[ ] You've worn glasses ever since you were in fifth grade. -I'm fortunate to have perfect vision.
[X] You'll haggle over something that is not negotiable. -Well, it's worth a try. Sometimes, vendors/sellers need a little push.
[X] You are a math genius. -Haha. I'd like to think that I am. Or was.
[ ] You take showers at night.
[X] You avoid the non-free snacks in hotel rooms. -Of course. You don't want to get held up just because you couldn't pay for your hotel bill because it went out of your budget.
[ ] You say "aiyah!" and "wah!" frequently.
[X] You save grocery bags. -Yes, I used them as trash bags.
[X] You twirl your pen around your fingers. -Out of habit. Only when I'm extremely bored.
[X] You have been taught that wasting food is a sin. -My grandparents told us that there are millions of people who don't have food on their table and some can only afford to have meals at least once a day. "Maraming taong nagugutom sa mundo... maswerte kayo at may kinakain kayo." That's the usual litany if one of us leaves food on the table. And I have it embedded in my mind.
[X] Your dad thinks he can fix everything himself. -I sometimes wonder if it has anything to do with him being an engineering grad. You'll be amazed at the contents of his toolbox! If we have a garage, I think it'll be an extension of a hardware store.
[ ] You beat eggs with chopsticks. -We use forks.
[ ] You like congee with thousand-year-old eggs. -I haven't tried this one! Will definitely add it to my food bucket list.
[X] You have eaten moon cakes.
[X] If you don't live at home, when your parents call, they ask you if you've eaten, even if it's midnight. -My lola does. When I was away in Singapore, I remember having the conversation begin like this: "O, kumain ka na ba?"
[ ] You email/sms your friends, even though you're only ten feet apart.
[ ] You can read traditional Chinese.
[X] Your toothpaste tubes are all squeezed paper-thin before they are thrown away. -In our household, nothing is wasted.
[X] You know what pearl milk teas are.
[ ] You bring fruit with you as a gift when you visit people's homes.
[ ] You have acquired a taste for bitter melon.
[X] You eat every last grain of rice in your bowl, but don't eat the last piece of food on the table.

Q&A... 019

FRIEND CONFESSIONS

Are you jealous of one or more of your friends?

:: A few. Just in terms of them living out their dreams while I'm still trying to figure out mine...

Have you known any of your friends your whole life?

:: No. Not really. Just twenty years or so. I've met most of my friends in school (grade school, high school, college...) and there's only a few people I've been in contact with constantly.

Are any of your friends taller than you?

:: Yes. A lot of them. Sadly, I belong to the shorter group (I'm 5'2").

Have you ever been ditched by a friend?

:: Quite a few times. But I don't consider them as my friends anymore. I forgive, but I don't forget which makes it harder for me to maintain relationships (even with friends).

Where do your friends live?

:: Mostly in the Philippines? Hehe. Most, if not all, are within Manila.

Have you lost or forgotten a friend's phone number?

:: Lost is more like it, since my phone got stolen a few months ago.

Have you been to most of your friend's houses?

:: Yes, especially those who lives nearby.

HABIT CONFESSIONS

Do you play with things when nervous?

:: I play with my hair. Yeah, I know it makes me look like I'm crazy. But what can I do? I'm obsessed with my hair. Hehe.

Do you have an odd obsession with knives?

:: Not very fond of them knives. But I'm very good at handling them.

Do you sleep with the door open or closed?

:: Definitely closed. I easily get scared, so an open door does things to my imagination. It better be close if I wanted to fall asleep fast. Otherwise... hehehe.

Do you bite your nails?

:: No, I don't. C'mon! Just think of all the bacteria/germs you're putting inside your mouth! Gross.

What is your worst habit?

:: I have weird ones, but I don't think any of them can be considered worst. How do you even consider or define a habit as worst?

LOVE CONFESSIONS

Do you currently like someone?

:: Yes, totally. To the point that I constantly find myself thinking of him.

Do they like you?

:: I don't even know if he knows me. Or if he even knows I exist. :(

Do you get bored of your girlfriend/boyfriend easily?

:: This I got to admit. I plead... Guilty. My friend once told me that I fall in and out of love so easily that it's becoming a lot harder to catch up with my feelings. Does that makes sense?

Has one of your crushes ever called you self-centered before?

:: No. I haven't even been able to strike up a conversation with any of my past crushes. As in those that I actually been a little obsessed with.

PERSONAL OPINION CONFESSIONS

Who do you want for President?

:: I actually wanted (voted for) Manny Villar, but the current president is my second choice and he has all my support. I just wish people would cut him some slack. It's not like anyone can turn a third world country into a first-world country overnight. He hasn't been done with his term yet, give him a break.

Do you think abortions are horrible?

:: Yes. A child is a blessing, wanted or not. There are hundreds (maybe even thousands) of woman who can't conceive even if they wanted to, and God has given you that gift that most woman wanted, and you're just gonna throw it all away? If you can't raise the child, put the child for adoption. Someday, somewhere, someone will care for that child and give it a home. Besides if you don't wanna get pregnant in the first place, don't do the act. (or at least take precautions!)

Needles aren't so horrible?

:: They're not, but I still don't like them.

You have plenty of secrets?

:: Yes. To stay sane and the feeling of knowing something others don't. It's a thrill. But I must admit that I'm having a lot of them (secrets) lately. I think it's time to reveal some to lighten the load a bit. Hehe.

HAVE YOU EVER CONFESSIONS

Have you ever fallen up the stairs?

:: Fallen up? Lol. But I fell down the stairs once when I was young. Missed a couple of steps. Nothing serious, though. No broken bones or anything.

Have you ever slapped someone across the face?

:: Yes. Once. And for a petty reason.

Have you ever killed anyone?

:: Nope. But I've murdered a dozen in my mind... hehehe. That's why sometimes... I'm thankful for my imagination. I can do whatever I want inside my head. And no one can sue me about them.

Worn the same clothes for a week straight?

:: If it refers to the clothes not being washed at all, then no, I haven't.

Who is the most beautiful person you know?

Who knows you best?

:: Among all my friends (including my best friends), I think Pam knows me the best since we got to spend almost six years working together.

Ever been in love with someone?

:: Of course.

Need anyone?

:: None to that extent.

Who is your best friend of the same sex?

:: Bernice, although I haven't seen her since we graduated from high school, I still consider her my best friend.

Best friend of the opposite sex?

:: None. But I do have a few close friends from the opposite sex -and they're all gay! : )

:: Luckily, I haven't entrusted anyone with such power! Hahaha!

Ever love someone that wasn't good for you?

:: It's more like him being TOO good for me... : (

Wanna say something to someone?

:: "Why can't you just choose me instead?" ~my heart's silent appeal.

Wish things could have gone differently with someone?

Q&A... 014

Two feelings at the moment?

:: Tired and happy

What are you listening to right now?

:: k-pop playlist... my favorite music from Korean artists

A part of a song lyric that's in your mind right now?

:: baby you light up my world like nobody else... LSS. And I'm not even a big fan of One Direction. Its just that this song has a way of being stuck in my head once I hear it.

What is the highlight of your week?

:: It will probably be the town fiesta this coming Sunday.

What are you craving to have right now?

:: Tokyo Cafe's Carbonara... yum!

Any unforgettable childhood memory?

:: A stolen first kiss from kindergarten days? I've been thinking about that a lot lately.

A not-so-good childhood memory?

:: When I stepped on a nail (as I jumped from a table in our garden) while pretending to be a gymnast.

Your plans for tomorrow?

:: Go to work.

Are you thinking of someone right now?

:: Yes. I've been thinking a lot about a certain person lately.

Do you party?

:: Yes. I love parties. I even love organizing them.

Do you like twins?

:: Haven't given it much thought.

Are you feeling hungry?

:: Yes. For the past couple of days, I've been feeling rather hungry all the time.

Who do you miss right now?

:: My friends. Especially my college friends, Pior and Izel. I haven't seen them in ages.

Are you in love?

:: Yes. Everyday. ♥

What do you like about night?

:: The moon, the stars, the quietness...

If you were in a farm, what do you want to see?

:: Rice field... a vast landscape full of vegetables, fruits, etc.

How many best friends do you have?

:: I have two. But I haven't seen both since we graduated from high school.

Would you rather get up early or sleep in?

:: Sleep in. I want to get up early, but I couldn't. My bed is just too tempting!

Who do you love?

:: My family, friends, and... ♥

What would you change about your life right now?

:: To be able to have accomplished the things that I thought I would have already done by now.

Would you rather smile over a lie or cry over the truth?

:: Cry over the truth. Because the feeling of being lied to is far worse than knowing the truth. At least when you're done crying you can put it behind you and move on.

Who was the last person you got into an argument with?

:: A former friend.

Do you trust people easily?

:: I did when I was young and naive. I thought that everyone was innocent unless proven otherwise. Now, because of being more exposed to the "truth/ways of the world" I've become more suspicious of people's true intentions.

Could you go a day without eating?

:: No. I love to eat. No matter how many times I told myself that I needed to lose weight, I just couldn't resist the sight and smell of my favorite foods.

How much does looks matter to you?

:: Little. I can honestly say now that I prefer someone who can make me laugh and someone I could have good, meaningful conversations with over a man who just looks good (and does good only in bed).

How do you feel about PDA (Public Display of Affection)?

:: It's normal. Just not too excessive, puh-lease...

Would you rather be mad or sad?

:: I'd rather be sad. I don't like the surge of emotions that overcomes me when I'm mad. I hate feeling guilty afterwards.

Does it take a lot to make you cry?

:: Not really. I cry way too easily. I even cry at will. It's a personal talent.

Are you tight with your mommy?

:: Yes. My mom and I are much closer now than we were before.

Name one fear that you have.

:: Losing another loved one. I've always told my friends that I'd rather die first than see a member of my family pass away again. Until now, I still cry when I think about my grandfather's sudden death. And it had been six years.

If you need to go to the store a block away, do you walk or drive?

:: Since I do not own a car, I will walk. Besides, even if I do have a car, gasoline nowadays is just too expensive!

Does the thought of marriage scare you?

:: A little. But of course, every girl/woman wishes to be married to a man she wants to spend the rest of her life with.

What did you do today?

:: Went to work.

In 20 years, where do you see yourself?

:: I see myself travelling the world, married to a man I want to be with, and probably have kids of my own.

Who will you choose to die with?

:: As twisted as it may sound, I'd rather die alone.

Meron bang basketball court sa lugar niyo?

:: None. Our barangay doesn't even have its own sports complex.

Proud ka ba kasi diyan ka nakatira?

:: Yes. I live in a friendly neighborhood where I knew almost everyone in our compound. And it (our compound) is very much accessible if you want to go anywhere. It's near the airport, near the mall of asia, near the local church, etc.

Q&A... 012

Mabilis ba uminit ulo mo?

Paano kang umarte 'pag nandiyan crush mo?

:: I tend to shy away. I often look the other way which make it more obvious that I like that person.

Anong inaasar sa'yo ng mga kaibigan mo ngayon?

:: Nothing in particular.

Paano ka malasing?

:: I don't usually get drunk easily. So far, the one thing I've done was to lock myself up inside the bathroom to throw up. At least, my friends didn't get to see me throwing up all over the place or acting all crazy.

Pag may nag-I Love You sa'yo, prepared ka na ba?

:: At my age, saying I Love You is already common. It's nothing out of the ordinary. I guess it lost its meaning as I become exposed to it.

May alam ka bang sad song? Ano?

:: Tears in Heaven. There's nothing more heartbreaking than to lose a loved one because of death.

Kapag bored ka sa bahay niyo, anong ginagawa mo?

:: I read. If that doesn't work, I try to arrange/organize my things. If that doesn't work either, I watch movies. But I seldom get bored at home. There's so many things to do inside my room than not having more time to do them is my only problem. Hehe.

Last incident na nangyari?

:: Can't remember. Does starting at my new job counts?

Halata ba 'pag galit ka?

:: Yep. When I'm mad, no matter how many times someone talks to me, I tend to ignore that person. I wouldn't answer and just keep being quiet. So my friends usually knows when it's time to back off.

:: Feel-good movies, comedies, romantic comedies, movies from my childhood (Tom & Huck, Home Alone, Mighty Ducks, My Girl, etc.)

Pag pinapagalitan ka ng parents mo, ano ginagawa mo?

:: Listen well. Then try to reason out if there's a need to.

Madalas ka bang mabasa ng  ulan?

:: Yes, As I don't really like using an umbrella, I prefer to just use my hoodie/jackets especially if the rainfall isn't all that heavy.

Bagay na interesado ka laging pag-usapan?

:: K-Pop, korean dramas, learning foreign languages and travelling.

Takot ka ba sa ipis?

:: No. (Unless it flies right towards me.)

Sinong huli mong naka-away?

:: A former friend. That was three-years ago. I've been a better person since then.

Anong mas enjoy: foodtrip o soundtrip?

:: Sound trip, since it wouldn't make me fat.

Recent activity na ikinapagod mo ng sobra?

:: Dancing. Random dancing inside my room to my favorite dance tunes. It's my alternative to exercising.

Outgoing ka ba o home buddy?

:: I'm actually a bit of both. I enjoy going out with friends and I also enjoy having some quality time by myself.

Anong klaseng barkada meron ka?

:: Friends who enjoy having fun and sharing good laughs.

Ano talagang nararamdaman mo ngayon?

:: Slightly getting over depression.

Latest person in your inbox?

:: Pam.

Sinong iniisip mo ngayon?

:: The one who makes my heart skip a beat whenever I see him. Lol. ♥

Mabilis ka bang magsawa?

:: Sort of.

Sino kasama mo ngayon?

:: Family. But I'm alone in my room.

May bestfriend ka ba sa opposite sex?

:: None. But I do have a few male friends.

Kung may pagkakataon, posible bang maging kayo?

:: If I ever have a guy best friend, I don't think I can risk the friendship. So my friends are off limits to me.

Sino huli mong naka-text?

:: Pam and Jog, simultaneously.

Sino huling tumawag sa'yo?

:: Joggito.

Sino crush mo ngayon?

:: Well, there's this attorney I often see at work. : ) Don't know his name though.

Q&A... 011

The status of you and the last person you texted?

:: Friends.

What's bothering you right now?

:: Nothing much in particular. Just life in general...

Would you kiss someone to make your bf/gf mad?

:: No. Because I wouldn't want him to do the same. Like they say about life, "Don't do unto others what you don't want others to do unto you."

What is in your wallet?

:: Money, credit cards, id pictures, atm, money from countries I visited, a few receipts, IDs

Wallpaper on your computer?

Background on your cellphone?

:: Just an image from one of my cellphone's themes

Listening to?

:: K-Pop

Have you ever kissed anyone named Chase?

:: Nope. I don't even know anyone named Chase in real life. I only know of Chase Crawford. ♥

What do you smell like?

:: Cologne.

Eating?

:: Not right now.

What's your favorite thing to have on your bed?

:: Pillows. I surround myself with them.

If you could change something in your life, what would it be?

:: To have a real best friend whom I can confide in?

What do you wear to bed?

:: Loose shirt and a pair of shorts. I haven't worn my pj's for years. I've been too lazy to change into them.

Do you remember your dreams?

:: Most of the time, yes. Especially the good ones. And those you'd want to repeat again.

Who will you sleep with tomorrow?

:: I will sleep with... myself.

Have you ever been gambling?

:: Nope.

What's something you wish you could understand better?

:: The way the opposite sex thinks. Sometimes you think you knew them, but then they'd do or say something that is completely opposite of what you thought they'd say or do.

What did you do last night?

:: Facebook, Blogger, Watched Korean variety shows... the usual.

Who do you miss?

:: My friends. I haven't seen them for over a year.

Who is the last person you hugged?

:: Can't remember. Must have been one of my siblings.

Who was the last person you went somewhere with?

:: Since my social life is borderline zero, must have been with a member of my family, somewhere nearby.

Have you kissed anyone on your top/featured friends?

:: None.

What was the last thing you drank?

:: Coffee. As what I've said on my earlier posts, I drink coffee more than I drink water.

Where were you at noon yesterday?

:: At my new workplace.

Who was the last person you visited in the hospital?

:: Haven't been at the hospital in such a long time. First of all, I hate going there. Second, no one I knew had been hospitalized recently. So, my last visit was probably when my grandmother was confined there several years ago.

Do you like someone right now?

:: Yes. ♥
